Coastal Carolina routs NC Wesleyan 96-56

CONWAY, S.C. (AP) — Kierre Greenwood scored 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting and Coastal Carolina routed North Carolina Wesleyan 96-56 on Tuesday night.

The Chanticleers (5-2) won their third straight game of the season, scoring 36 points off 25 turnovers by the Division III Battling Bishops.

Coastal Carolina led by 13 at halftime, then outscored North Carolina Wesleyan 59-32 in the second half.

Greenwood was 3 of 5 from long range and also had five assists and three steals. Desmond Holloway, who added 16 points and four steals, has scored at least 13 points in all seven games for Coastal Carolina.

Anthony Raffa and Danny Nieman added 11 points apiece as 11 Chanticleers players scored at least two points.

The Chanticleers had a 42-21 rebounding advantage and held the Battling Bishops without a field goal the final 5:16.

Matt Dougherty led North Carolina Wesleyan with 16 points.
