Missouri State rallies to beat Pacific 60-49

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) — Will Creekmore finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds and Kyle Weems had 14 points as Missouri State defeated Pacific 60-49 in the consolation round of the NIT Season Tip-Off on Tuesday night.

Jermaine Mallett added 10 points for the Bears (4-2).

Sam Willard led the Tigers (4-2) with 20 points and 10 rebounds and Allen Huddleston had 12 points.

Missouri State trailed 27-26 at halftime but scored the first 10 points of the second half and led the rest of the way. The Bears shot 52 percent after intermission while limiting the Tigers to 31 percent.

Pacific led by as many as eight in the first half before Missouri State put together a 15-8 run to close the gap.
