PHOENIX (AP) — Chicago forward Taj Gibson was sidelined Wednesday night for the Bulls’ game against the Phoenix Suns with a right ankle injury.
A Bulls spokesman said Gibson was injured Monday during a practice. However, he did play in Tuesday night’s 98-91 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers and had 16 points, 12 rebounds, two blocked shots and two steals.
Gibson was replaced in the starting lineup by Ronnie Brewer.
