Cost of Freedom wins at Hollywood Park

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Cost of Freedom beat Gato Go Win by a length Thursday in the $100,000 Vernon O. Underwood Stakes at Hollywood Park.

Ridden by Joe Talamo, Cost of Freedom ran 6 furlongs in 1:08.46 and paid $4, $3 and $2.40.

Gato Go Win returned $8.80 and $4.40, and Scenic Blast paid $3.40 to show.

The victory increased Cost of Freedom’s career earnings to $812,263.
