PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police say a man who died of hypothermia at Portland’s Waterfront Park had been asked to leave a nightclub after taking off his shirt.

The Oregonian reports officers found 22-year-old Michael Ellis of Portland partially clothed early Wednesday inside a frozen fountain.

Detectives said employees of Club 915 in downtown Portland had asked Ellis to leave Tuesday night.
