ST. THOMAS, Virgin Islands (AP) — Monica McNutt scored 24 points to help No. 12 Georgetown beat Georgia Tech 67-58 on Thursday night in the Paradise Jam.

Trailing by one at the half, Georgetown (4-0) scored the first four points of the second half to take a 43-39 lead. Georgia Tech tied it at 47 midway through the period before the Hoyas scored the next five points to take a 52-47 lead with 8:48 left.
