Northern Illinois beats Eastern Michigan 71-3

YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) — Jordan Lynch rushed 142 yards and scored two touchdowns and Northern Illinois beat Eastern Michigan 71-3 Friday in the last game of the regular season.

The Huskies (10-2, 8-0, Mid-American) finished with 646 total offense yards, 544 on the ground, to Eastern Michigan’s (2-10, 2-6) 160 total offense yards.

Lynch scored on runs of 81 yards and 61 yards and led three other Huskies who scored two touchdowns each.

DeMarcus Grady scored on a 61-yard TD run and a 30-yarder. Chad Spann also rushed for two touchdowns, including a 71-yard run early in the first quarter.

Chandler Harnish threw two TD passes to Willie Clark and finished with 101 passing yards.

Jasmin Hopkins had a 74-yard rushing TD, and Ricky Crider ran 22 yards to score.

Michael Cklamovski also kicked a field goal for Northern Illinois.

Sean Graham kicked a field goal for the Eagles.
