• GARBAGE: In Vancouver and most of Clark County, today’s trash and recyclables will be collected Saturday.

In Camas, today’s trash and recyclables will be picked up with Tuesday’s collections.

• TRANSFER STATIONS: Open today.

• PUBLIC SCHOOLS: No classes today.

• COLLEGES: No classes at Clark College and Washington State University Vancouver today.

• GOVERNMENT: City, county and state offices closed today. Federal offices are open.

• ANIMAL SHELTER: Humane Society for Southwest Washington shelter open.

• PUBLIC LIBRARIES: Fort Vancouver Regional Library headquarters and branch libraries open today. Camas Public Library closed today, open Saturday.

• BUSES: C-Tran follows reduced service schedule today. TriMet on regular service today.

• PARKING: Meters in downtown Vancouver free today.

• DRIVER LICENSING: Offices closed today.

• VEHICLE LICENSING: Offices closed today.

• EMISSIONS TESTING: Open today.

• LIQUOR STORES: State-operated stores open today.

• ZOO: Oregon Zoo open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.

• BANKS: Open today.

• FINANCIAL MARKETS: New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq and other markets close early today, at 10 a.m. Pacific time.

• FORT VANCOUVER NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE: Open today.

• CLARK COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM: Closed today.

• WESTFIELD VANCOUVER MALL: Open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. today.

Three anchor stores, JC Penney, Macy’s and Sears, open at 4 a.m. Hours subject to change.

• THE COLUMBIAN: Offices open regular hours today, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Circulation customer service open regular hours, 4:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
