Delaware State routs Philadelphia Biblical 103-41

DOVER, Del. (AP) — Desi Washington scored 18 points and Delaware State routed Philadelphia Biblical 103-41 on Friday night.

Casey Walker added 16 points and Brandon Baylor had 13 for the Hornets (2-1), who notched their highest point total and largest margin of victory since the 1990-91 season. All 13 players who appeared in the game for Delaware State had at least one field goal.

Washington made 4 of 8 shots from 3-point range and the Hornets shot 50 percent (14 for 28) from behind the arc.

Delaware State shot 63.8 percent (37 of 58) from the field and turnovers also made a big difference. The Hornets scored 68 points off 33 turnovers by Philadelphia Biblical (0-4).

Jeff Bishop scored 16 points and was the only player in double figures for Philadelphia Biblical, an NCAA Division III school.
