DURHAM, N.H. (AP) — Dane DiLiegro scored 23 points including a layup with 2 seconds remaining as New Hampshire beat Brown 70-66 on Saturday.

DiLiegro broke a 66-66 tie with his basket, then the Wildcats’ Tyrone Conley stole the inbounds pass with 1 second remaining and was fouled. Conley, who scored 19 and was 8 of 9 from the free-throw line, made both foul shots.

Ferg Myrick added 12 points for the Wildcats, who are 4-1 for the first time since the 2004-05 season. New Hampshire has won two in a row in the series and seven of the past 11.

New Hampshire led by 13 in the first half and by 10 at the break, but the game was tied three times in the final three minutes. Brown’s Tucker Halpern tied the game at 66 on two free throws with 8 seconds left, before the Wildcats’ heroics.

Peter Sullivan scored 20 points, Halpern added 15 and Garrett Leffelman had 12 for Brown (3-2).
