Snow showers continue over Spokane, eastern WA

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Non-stop snow is forcing the city of Spokane to declare a stage 2 snow emergency Saturday, sending crews to plow city and residential streets 24 hours a day.

Snow is forecast for much of eastern Washington until at least early next week. Inches of snow and ice already cover many parts of the region.
