Valparaiso beats Northern Colorado 76-61

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Howard Little scored 18 points to lead Valparaiso in a comeback victory over Northern Colorado 76-61 in the third round of the Las Vegas Invitational on Friday.

Little, who was 4 of 5 from 3-point range, had 14 second-half points as Valparaiso (3-2) rallied from an 11-point first-half deficit and outscored the Bears (2-3) in the second half, 50-29.

Ryan Broekhoff added 15 points and Matt Kenney added 11 for the Crusaders, who will play Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the final round on Saturday.

Devon Beitzel led Northern Colorado with 23 points, including 4 of 6 from 3-point range and 9 of 9 from the free-throw line. Emmanuel Addo added 12 points and 9 rebounds for the Bears, who will play Bethune-Cookman in the final round on Saturday.

In the second half, Valparaiso made 15 of 23 from the field, compared to 6 of 26 in the first.
