BALTIMORE (AP) — The Baltimore Ravens have placed slumping cornerback Fabian Washington and starting guard Chris Chester on the inactive list for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Washington started the first eight games of the season but lost the job to Josh Wilson in the Nov. 11 game against Atlanta and was used sparingly in Baltimore’s previous two games.

The return of injured safety Tom Zbikowski (heel) probably played a part in omitting Washington from the active roster against the Bucs.

Chester has a skin infection on his leg. He also missed last week’s game against Carolina.

Baltimore also has placed linebacker Dannell Ellerbe, nose tackle Brandon McKinney and tight end Ed Dickson on the inactive list.

Tampa Bay’s inactives include defensive lineman Kyle Moore, cornerback Elbert Mack and offensive tackles Will Barker and Derek Hardman.
