POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Kenny McGowen scored 21 points and Abner Moreira had a double-double as Idaho State defeated Montana Tech 69-57 Monday night.
Moreira finished with 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Bengals (2-3). Chase Grabau scored 10 points.
Idaho State led 35-28 at the half and shot 55 percent from the field in the game.
Kellen Hasquet scored 18 points to lead Montana Tech, an NAIA school that designated this as an exhibition game. A.J. Paine had 15 for the Orediggers.
