More snow for mountains, Eastern Washington

SEATTLE (AP) — The National Weather Service says a new storm blowing into Washington will bring heavy snow to the mountains and parts of Eastern Washington.

The Weather Service has a winter storm warning in effect through Tuesday for the Cascades where 1-to-2 feet of snow are expected. Rain and winds are forecast for the lowlands of Western Washington.

A winter storm warning also is in effect until Wednesday morning for areas of Eastern Washington, including Spokane, Colville and Pullman. Forecasters expect 4-to-8 inches of snow with more in the mountains. Another round of snow is possible on Thursday
