Westfield Vancouver mall this week introduced an iPhone application with a virtual personal shopping assistant and other interactive features.
Available for free download from Apple’s iTunes App store or the website http://westfield.com/vancouver/, the Westfield iPhone app electronically maps out the layout of the mall, located near state Highway 500 and Thurston Way. The app also provides a store directory and information about stores, customer offers, promotions and special events.
The app allows shoppers to bring up a global positioning system map to the shopping center, locate the quickest path to stores, interface with retailers and receive real-time updates about shopping center activities. The app also allows mall patrons to record their parking location by voice or text note.
