PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Cable TV rates are going up for many Oregonians.

Comcast announced its annual rate increase Monday. The Oregonian says that means the cable company’s standard “digital starter” package will go up by 5.1 percent in the January bills.

That’s an increase of $3 to $63 a month for cable customers, not counting various fees and charges tacked on.
