Brice, Howard run past Lincoln, Pa. 28-14

WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) — Charles Brice ran for three second-quarter touchdowns and Howard defeated Lincoln, Pa. 28-14 on Saturday.

Brice, who finished with 161 yards on 31 carries, had scores of 34 and 12 yards before putting the Bison up 21-0 on a 1-yard run with 20 seconds remaining until halftime.

The Division II Lions (1-4) answered with a 34-yard touchdown pass from Ivan Mitchell to Anthony Wilson at the end of the half, but they couldn’t overcome the lack of possession.

Lincoln managed just 32 yards on 25 carries and was 0-for-12 on third downs.

Howard’s defense had three sacks, including two against Steven Torres.

Keith Pough led the Bison (1-4) with 10 tackles, including four for a loss of 31 yards. Two of his four tackles for loss were sacks.

The Lions were led by Gerald Swain with 75 yards on 18 carries.
