SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle’s Museum of History and Industry starts work in January on renovating the old Naval Reserve Armory on south Lake Union for the museum’s new home.

Construction work on a new Highway 520 floating bridge is forcing the museum to move from its location near the University of Washington.

The Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce reports the move will restore the historic landmark armory that was built in the 1940s.
