RIGA, Latvia (AP) — Pyotr Prucha scored the go-ahead goal with two seconds left in the second period, and the Phoenix Coyotes went on to beat Dinamo Riga 3-1 on Wednesday.

Taylor Pyatt and Lee Stempniak scored the Coyotes’ other goals in the team’s final exhibition game before facing the Boston Bruins in the season-opener this weekend in Prague.

Prucha’s power-play goal from wide open in front of the net was assisted by Radim Vrbata. The two players will have the rare treat of opening the regular season at home in the Czech Republic.

Mark Hartigan scored Dinamo Riga’s only goal, in the 10th minute of the second period, tapping in the puck from a melee in front of goalie Jason Labarbera.
