PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — State officials say the entire Oregon coastline is now open for recreational and commercial shellfish harvesting.

The Departments of Agriculture and Fish and Wildlife said Friday they had closed the coast from the south jetty of the Columbia River to Cascade Head for recreational mussel harvesting but have lifted the ban because the levels of toxins have dropped below the alert level.
