LANDOVER, Md. (AP) — Albert Haynesworth and Clinton Portis were among the Washington Redskins inactives for their game against the Green Bay Packers.
Haynesworth was not with the team Sunday. He was in Nashville mourning the death of his half brother, who died in a motorcycle accident Thursday night.
Portis is expected to miss four to six weeks after injuring his left groin last week at Philadelphia.
The Packers’ inactive list included five injured players who had started at least one game this season: right tackle Mark Tauscher, fullback Quinn Johnson, rookie cornerback Sam Shields and linebackers Nick Barnett and Brandon Chillar.
