CINCINNATI (AP) — Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones was questioned after a traffic incident following a 24-21 loss to Tampa Bay, but was released without a ticket or charges.

A Cincinnati police spokesman says Jones drove his vehicle over a curb to avoid hitting someone or another vehicle downtown on Sunday. The area was crowded with fans leaving the Bengals’ game and going to the Reds’ evening playoff game.

The police spokesman says Jones was briefly questioned about the matter, then allowed to leave.

The Bengals signed Jones this offseason. He was out of the NFL last year after a long string of off-field problems.
