INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — USA Track and Field has begun a search for Doug Logan’s replacement as CEO with the hope of starting interviews early next year.

The sport’s governing body has hired a search firm and appointed a search committee of USATF board members being led by Steve Miller, a former Nike executive who has also served as president and CEO of the Professional Bowlers Association.

Other board members on the search committee are Evie Dennis, Jeff Darman, Elizabeth Phillips, Deena Kastor and Steve Holman.

According to USATF, none of the current board members are candidates for the job Logan held for 26 months, before he was fired last month.
