Camas startup a finalist for venture capital funding

Camas-based Mobba is one of 10 startup firms chosen to present business plans at the Venture Northwest 2010 funding competition, the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network announced Wednesday. Finalists will pitch their plans to a panel of venture capital investors on Nov. 4 in Portland in hopes of landing funding and partnerships.

Mobba, an online marketplace that uses social networks to form groups of like-minded buyers, will be the only Washington company to present. The other finalists, all from Oregon, are ARM Insight, DesignMedix Inc., Exterro Inc., GreenPrint, Lux Bio Group, Revelation Inc., The Clymb, Proxense and Columbia Power Technologies.
