Robert Morris shuts out Albany (N.Y.) 38-0

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) — Myles Russ ran for 138 yards and a touchdown as Robert Morris controlled the ball and the game in a 38-0 win over Albany (N.Y.) on Saturday.

The Colonials (6-1, 5-0 Northeast Conference)had 255 yards rushing, compared to 39 by the Great Danes (3-3, 1-2).

Jeff Sinclair threw for three touchdowns and 143 yards on 10-for-17 passing for Robert Morris.

The Colonials, who had a 12-yard touchdown pass from Sinclair to Anthony Coleman, a 32-yard TD run by Russ and a 1-yard TD run by Sinclair in the first quarter, were 3-for-4 in red zone chances. Albany didn’t get past the Robert Morris 20-yard line once, and only managed to cross the 50 four times.

On the Great Danes’ best chance they got to the Colonials’ 33 on a 17-yard pass from Buddy Leathley to Jameel Gay. However, the next play went for an interception by Michael Landers at the Robert Morris 2.
