PITTSBURGH (AP) — Byron Leftwich, inactive with a sprained left knee during Ben Roethlisberger’s four-game suspension, is the Steelers’ backup quarterback against the Cleveland Browns.

Charlie Batch, who started twice and played most of the previous three games, is the No. 3 quarterback.

The Browns are without injured right tackle John St. Clair (ankle) and defensive end Robaire Smith (back). As expected, they also didn’t dress either of their injured quarterbacks, Seneca Wallace or Jake Delhomme.

Wide receiver Carlton Mitchell, guard Shawn Lauvao, tight end Alex Smith and defensive end Jayme Mitchell also were inactive.

Also, Pittsburgh sat down WR Antonio Brown. Among other Steelers inactives are CB Keenan Lewis and Crezdon Butler.
