Rouse, Fresno State handle New Mexico State 33-10

FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — Robbie Rouse rushed for a season-high 150 yards and two touchdowns Saturday night as Fresno State defeated New Mexico State 33-10.

Rouse ran for scores of 57 and 38 yards in the first half and Ryan Colburn completed 12 of 20 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown for Fresno State (4-2, 2-1 WAC). The Bulldogs scored all of their points in the first half.

Seth Smith had 91 rushing yards on 11 carries for New Mexico State (1-5, 0-2). The Aggies were held out of the end zone until Kenny Turner’s 19-yard touchdown run midway through the fourth quarter.

Chris Carter led the Bulldogs’ defense with nine tackles and three sacks, including two forced fumbles.
