Killer Olympic Park goat examined for disease

PORT ANGELES, Wash. (AP) — A veterinary pathologist is examining the carcass of a mountain goat that was killed after it gored a man to death in Olympic National Park.

Spokeswoman Barb Maynes told The Peninsula Daily News the examination should reveal if a disease caused the goat to attack a hiker Saturday on a trail about 17 miles south of Port Angeles.
