SEATTLE (AP) — King County Executive Dow Constantine has ordered an inquest into the Aug. 16 shooting death of a man at a supermarket by a Seattle police officer.

The inquest was ordered Tuesday into the shooting of Ariel Rosenfeld, who was shot at the QFC store where he worked after police tried to serve him with an arrest warrant.

Inquests are fact-finding hearings before a six-member jury. They are routinely held after any death involving an on-duty law enforcement officer within King County.
