PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police say they have made an arrest in the stabbing of a man found dead in his southeast Portland house.

Detectives say 26-year-old Samuel Leisure was taken into custody during a traffic stop Wednesday night in Gresham. Police earlier had obtained a murder warrant for Leisure in the death Tuesday of 63-year-old Dennis Weinberger. An autopsy has determined Weinberger died of multiple stab wounds.

Police say Leisure knew Weinberger and was often at his house. They say Leisure apparently had been acting irrationally before Weinberger was attacked.
