PORT ORCHARD, Wash. (AP) — A man accused of killing his wife’s 23-month-old daughter in Port Orchard was acquitted of a second-degree murder charge.

But jurors were unable to reach a verdict Wednesday on manslaughter charges against Henry Paul Musgrove and a mistrial was declared.

The Kitsap Sun reports the retrial is scheduled for Dec. 6. Musgrove remains in jail.
