INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Zenyatta ran seven furlongs in her next-to-last workout at Hollywood Park before the undefeated mare heads to Kentucky for next month’s Breeders’ Cup.

Under Hall of Fame jockey Mike Smith, Zenyatta was timed in 1:27.20 over the synthetic Cushion Track on Friday morning.

Zenyatta, who is 19-0 in her career, will defend her title in the $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic at Churchill Downs on Nov. 6.

She is scheduled to work out again on Oct. 30 before shipping to Louisville on Nov. 2.
