WASHINGTON (AP) — Russia is complaining that the United States has not acted on information about drug laboratories in Afghanistan.

The head of Russia’s federal drug control agency, Victor Ivanov, says he provided U.S. officials in Kabul months ago with the coordinates of 175 laboratories processing heroin. He says that U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency officials in Kabul have told him they are waiting for U.S. military approval to take down the labs.

The DEA declined to comment except to say it does not confirm or deny information shared by other nations.
