Federer wins in Stockholm for 64th career title

STOCKHOLM (AP) — Roger Federer has tied Pete Sampras for career titles, earning his 64th with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Florian Mayer of Germany in the Stockholm Open final.

Federer claimed his third title of the year at the Royal Tennis Hall on Sunday to move into a tie with Sampras for fourth on the all-time list.
