ELLENSBURG, Wash. (AP) — An investigation has determined it was a high-alcohol caffeinated drink called Four Loko, not date-rape drugs, that sickened Central Washington University students at a party in Roslyn.
The university announced at a news conference Monday in Ellensburg that blood-alcohol content ranged from .12 percent to .35 percent.
Nine students were hospitalized after the Oct. 8 party at a house where about 50 people had been drinking.
