ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Both of Bengie Molina’s teams are in the World Series.

Molina has been with the Texas Rangers for only 312 months, traded there July 1 after 312 seasons with San Francisco.

Now, instead of catching for two-time NL Cy Young winner Tim Lincecum, Molina faces the more difficult task of trying to hit him when Rangers play in their first World Series starting Wednesday night.

This isn’t Molina’s first time he’s facing the Giants in a World Series. But his 2002 championship with the Los Angeles Angels came before he played in San Francisco.

In any case, Molina gets a ring regardless of who wins this World Series. He calls it a “very happy, weird feeling.”
