Big Wash. storm brings rain, wind, mountain snow

SEATTLE (AP) — A robust storm is bringing snow to the Washington Cascades and Olympics, as well as high surf on the coast and rain and wind in the Western Washington lowlands.

Snow fell throughout the day Monday at 4,000-foot Stevens Pass. By mid-evening, a light dusting of snow was hitting Snoqualmie Pass at about 3,000 feet.
