NEW YORK (AP) — NBA opening-night rosters feature a record 84 players from 38 countries and territories, setting a new record.
The league also tied its previous high with 63 players with NBA Development League experience.
Toronto has a league-high six international players, one more than Dallas. France has 11 players, followed by five from Turkey.
The previous NBA high was 83 players from 37 countries and territories in 2006-07.
Only one of the league’s 30 teams doesn’t have a player with D-League experience.
The league announced the breakdown Tuesday.
