Huck throws 2 TDs, Butler beats Valparaiso 48-0

VALPARAISO, Ind. (AP) — Andrew Huck threw for 186 yards and two touchdowns and Butler beat Valparaiso 48-0 Saturday.

The Bulldogs (4-5, 2-4 Pioneer League) finished with 483 total offense yards to the Crusaders’ (0-9, 0-6) 188 yards.

Huck connected with Eddie McHale on a 73-yard TD pass, and again with Brendan Shannon on a 12 yarder.

Trae Heeter ran 64 yards for a touchdown.

Scott Gray ran 34 yards to score with about a minute left in the second quarter, leaving Butler up 34-0 at halftime.

Tyler Skaggs scored when he returned a fumble from Crusaders’ quarterback Bobby Wysocki.

Matt Kobli also ran for a TD, and David Lang kicked two field goals.

Wysocki led Valparaiso in rushing and passing yards, finishing with 77 yards in the air and 41 on the ground.
