BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — Dan Persa threw two touchdown passes Saturday before leaving with an apparent concussion, giving Northwestern a 20-17 victory at Indiana.

The Wildcats (6-2, 2-2 Big Ten) have now won six straight road games and are bowl eligible for the fourth consecutive season.

The Hoosiers (4-4, 0-4) have lost nine straight conference games.

In a contest that featured the Big Ten’s two most productive passing quarterbacks, Persa clearly had the upper hand. He was 18 of 28 for 212 yards and ran 11 times for 19 yards.

Indiana’s Ben Chappell finished 30 of 54 for 308 yards with one TD and one interception, and he ran for a score. But Chappell was off most of the day and the Hoosiers’ offense never got in sync.
