SEATTLE (AP) — A Seattle Police officer and his police dog were not injured when their patrol car collided with three parked cars Friday night.

Police say the officer was responding to a call, when another car pulled out in front of him. The officer tried to maneuver around the other car, lost control of the patrol car and hit three parked cars.

Neither the officer, nor the other motorist was injured. The dog was taken to a veterinarian hospital as a precaution.

The motorist was ticketed for failing to stop at a stop sign.
