South Dakota rolls past Northern Colorado 34-6

VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) — Dante Warren threw for 276 yards and three touchdowns and Chris Ganious added two TDs as South Dakota defeated Northern Colorado 34-6 Saturday.

Ganious scored on a 24-yard pass and a 2-yard run to help the Coyotes (4-5) end a three-game losing streak. Both his TDs came in the first two minutes of the game.

Jace Davis caught seven passes for 185 yards and a touchdown for the Bears (2-7), who dropped their sixth straight and didn’t score until 8:55 remained in the game.

Warren was 18 of 28 and also threw touchdown passes to Dustin Nowotny and Will Powell, who finished with six catches for 124 yards. Nowotny’s TD gave South Dakota a 34-0 lead with 9:32 to play.
