Published: September 2, 2010, 12:00am

Camas Papermakers

2009 record: 7-3, 4-1 GSHL, lost in state qualifying game

Coach: Jon Eagle

Key players: Logan Grindy, sr., qb; Addison Owen, sr., wr/db; Odin Coe, sr., ol/dl; Jeremy Faulkner, sr., wr; Brent Hill, sr., db; Ikaika Gunderson, sr., lb; Trevor Clarkson, sr., ol; Miguel Salamanca, sr., wr; Kyle Ervin, sr., te; David Anderson, sr., ol; Eric Clay, sr., dl; Zach Anderson, sr., wr; Damon Kosaki, sr., lb; Gary Stokes, jr., ol; Jonathan Warner, jr., wr; Zach Marshall, jr., rb; Julian Samuels, sr., rb.

Team outlook: Look at all those seniors. A three-year starter at quarterback. A hungry team. Just about all agree that Camas is the “team to beat” in the 3A GSHL. The players expect more than a league title, though. The program has never won a state playoff game. This, they say, could be the year of the Papermakers.
