ROSEBURG, Ore. (AP) — Authorities are searching for a Douglas County Jail inmate who walked away from a work crew at the Douglas County Fair Grounds.

The sheriff’s office says 20-year-old Aaron F. Cadger of Roseburg was serving time for a felony parole violation when he escaped Saturday afternoon.

Investigators say they suspect he was aided by 18-year-old Brooke Stocki, also of Roseburg.
