CLE ELUM, Wash. (AP) — Archeologists from Central Washington University are helping Kittitas County investigators unearth the skeletal remains of a body found at the Suncadia Resort near Cle Elum.

The workers are sifting dirt to preserve the remains and any evidence. KIRO-TV reports the work could take until Thursday.

The body was discovered Monday by a backhoe operator working on a watering system for a golf course.
