MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — A convicted sex offender with a medical marijuana card for migraines will need to find another way to treat his headaches in jail.

Jackson County Sheriff Mike Winters told the Mail Tribune newspaper that 58-year-old Dennis Vickoren will not be allowed to use medical marijuana while serving his 30-day sentence.

The former Rogue Valley Transportation District bus driver and Sunday school teacher pleaded guilty last month to two felony counts of encouraging child sexual abuse.

Vickoren was sentenced the same day on the same charges as James Auchincloss, the half-brother to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. The pair were accused of viewing pictures of boys in sexual poses at Auchincloss’s home in Ashland.
