PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — An off-duty Portland police officer has been charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants.

The Portland Police Bureau said Friday that 47-year-old Scott Dunick was arrested early Thursday near a transit center in a northeast neighborhood.

A police spokeswoman said Dunick is an 18-year-veteran who is on administrative leave for an unrelated matter.

The arrest will be reviewed by the Internal Affairs Division.
