Rollover ends teens’ double date; one hospitalized

Car crashes on flat, gently curving residential street

Four teenagers were injured in an auto accident Sunday morning, Vancouver police said.

The accident occurred at 3:40 a.m. in the 17400 block of Southeast 25th Street.

According to Vancouver firefighters, a 17-year-old was ejected in the rollover accident and was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

The 16-year-old driver and two other teens, 17 and 18 years old, received injuries described as not life-threatening.

Their names were not released.

Police characterized the teens as two couples out on a date.

The accident occurred on a flat residential street with a gentle curve.
