Oregon officials praise China trade trip

MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — A 10-member Oregon trade mission to China says the trip earlier this month should boost the state’s agricultural exports and increase education ties between the two countries.

State Rep. Dennis Richardson, R-Central Point, was among those on the 12-day trip. He tells the Mail Tribune of Medford that the goal was to establish relationships that could lead to more business.
